Q: Could not connect?

  1. Please ensure your iPhone and Computer are both connected to the internet, or in the same LAN(in the same WIFI or network mostly)
  2. If your device fail to connect to internet or a router, just try to use your iPhone as a WIFI hotspot for your computer.
  3. Some router or firewall would block the communication between iPhone and computer, please try to shut the firewall down or connect another network, and try again.
  4. Sometimes, you just need to restart your iPhone, computer or the apps on both sides, and that would fix 90% problems. :)

Q: Why auto detection(searching) doesn’t work?

  1. Auto-Searching is available only if your iPhone and Computer in the same LAN(in the same WIFI or network mostly).
  2. Or use your iPhone as a WIFI hotspot for your computer.

Q: Connect successfully, but could not control the computer?

  1. Please check about System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility

  2. Check about the option of ControlaxForMac:

    a) If it’s unable, please enable it.

    b) If it’s enabled, please:

    i.  Delete the Controlax item in the list. 
    ii. Then connect the iPhone and Computer with Controlax again. 
    iii.Then Click some button about system presets(e.g. ‘Screen shot’,’Volume Up’) , a windows about ‘Accessibility Access’. 
    iv. Just allow or set it through ‘Open System Preferences’.

  3. If it’s still doesn’t work,please check about Automation, and make sure all the options are enable.
